I am Attila Baksai, and ever since I was a little child, I dreamed of working with dogs. I pored over the Pocket Book of Dogs, then later the Dog Magazine, and dog encyclopedias. For as long as I can remember, I searched for the ideal breed, wondering what I would want when I grew up 🙂
My grandmother’s neighbors put the finishing touch on it when they purchased their first pedigree Amstaff in 2007. I knew this was the breed I was looking for. I started saving money for a perfect specimen so I could buy one immediately if the opportunity arose.
In 2009, a 1.5-year-old bull type dog with a troubled fate, Steffy, was brought to the shelter. That’s where it all began. I took her home, trained her, but unfortunately, a series of genetic diseases appeared: allergy, dyp, ataxia. She passed away in 2015. When the first symptoms appeared, I vowed that I would only buy and breed dogs free from any genetic diseases. Later, I purposefully searched for litters with this goal in mind.
Dogs
At the beginning of 2014, there was a mating at the Imperial kennel, which made me say, this is it. I need a dog from this litter. For me, Storm was the most beautiful from the litter; I saw him, fell in love, and immediately reserved him. With him, our show career began: so far I achieved 5x CAC and 2x res. CAC show results, and he won a lot even as a puppy.
Imperial Yes I’am Playboy – red male. A true Amstaff :). Temperamental, squishy-headed love bomb. At the end of 2014, my second dog was born in the From Oops Dale kennel. I waited a lot for him and reserved him the day after his birth. We appeared at several shows, and he won everything he entered already as a puppy. Later, he became Ukrainian and Hungarian JCH.
I Dreamed a Dream From Oops Dale – brindle female with white markings (My foundation female). In 2015, her half-sibling was born, a true old-type, characterful Amstaff, with whom I do sports, and since 2017 we have only been going to shows.
Just For L.C. From Oops Dale – dark brindle female. In 2016, from the first breeding of my male, a dream-beautiful red female puppy was born at the Power Kontinental Kennel, and I brought her home as part of the breeding fee. I wanted to sell her, but I decided to keep her because she was a dream-beautiful puppy. With her, I stood on the BIS podium for the first time, I was very proud of her. She won 5 out of 6 shows so far.
Power Kontinental Hope From Leo Cordis. At the end of 2016, the A litter was born at the Leo Cordis Kennel, from which I kept a fabulously beautiful male puppy; with him, we already headed to shows in March 2017.
