I am Ágnes Balkányi, the exclusive owner of the Triumphator kennel. I have been involved with and getting to know Russian Greyhounds for more than 10 years.

I am Ágnes Balkányi, the sole owner of the Triumphator kennel. I have been dealing with and getting to know Russian Borzois for more than 10 years. From the first passing thought (around 2002) that I would one day have a Borzoi, I followed the breed, litters, and planned breedings closely until I met a beautiful dog with a fantastic nature, with whom I could also work at dog shows. At that point, I decided that I needed a puppy from this bloodline.

Although it was delayed, but not forgotten, I learned that a litter was planned from this dog's litter brother and a French imported male. I contacted the breeder and reserved the first choice. In December 2008, my first own Russian Borzoi was born, a red and white beauty: Samantha. I thought a lot about which puppy to bring home because I did not like the red color, yet she was the closest to me. Over time, it proved that I made the right choice in every aspect. Samantha is one of the most successful Borzoi females in our country; she has good speed and hunting ability, is a healthy Borzoi, but most importantly, a true companion! It was no question that she would be the founding female of my kennel, with whose descendants I plan our future.

In the Triumphator kennel’s first litter, 9 strong, beautiful, and healthy puppies were born in April 2013. For the above-mentioned Samantha, I looked for a male who would not only match in traits but also in type, whose owner is also responsible and does not neglect health screenings. We traveled all the way to Sedelsberg to the father of our puppies.

Triumphator Borzois have achieved beautiful successes at dog shows in the baby class. I hope they will continue to bring much joy to their owners in Denmark, Switzerland, and Hungary alike!
Currently, 6 Borzois live with us. I believe I can be proud of them.
