The Békéscsaba Youth and Sports Dog Association, similar to last year, has received the opportunity again this year from the Hungarian National Federation of Dog Breeders Associations to organize a CAC dog show. The CAC dog show will be held on April 5, 2015 in Békéscsaba, at the Póstelek Castle Park.
The former MEOE Békéscsaba Organization already organized CAC dog shows back in the early 1990s. The venue for the 1993 national show was also the Póstelek Castle park, as can be seen from this old catalog cover.
From the early 2000s, the venue was moved to the City Sports Hall area. The year 2011 marked a turning point when the show was held again at the Póstelek Castle Park.
We recommend this atmospheric video with photos made at the 2011 CAC show as an appetizer for our readers:

The city of the CAC dog show is Békéscsaba, the 12th most populous city in our country, and also one of the centers of the southeastern region. All important and interesting information about the city can be learned from this special video:
The Békéscsabai Youth and Sporting Dogs Association has chosen the park of the Póstelek Castle – as in 2011 and also last year – as the specific venue for the national CAC exhibition. The 15-hectare historical garden is considered one of the most beautiful parks in Békés County, with ash and oak trees being the dominant species. The neobaroque castle was built in the early 1900s. The castle was owned by the Wenckheim family, who fled due to later political circumstances, leaving the castle prey to looters.
Currently, the castle is in a ruinous state, but its garden has awakened renewed from many decades of slumber. Thanks to funds won in a tender, reconstruction started last year. The dried-out lake bed was restored, a boating lake was created, as well as a 1 km long promenade and footpaths were developed and landscaped. Nearly 1200 deciduous and evergreen trees and shrubs were planted in the park area, aiming to recreate the original historical garden from the 1930s.
The Békéscsabai Youth and Sporting Dogs Association warmly welcomes all interested parties, guests, exhibitors with their dogs to a high-quality CAC dog show on the capricious first weekend of April!
Below we would like to inform guests and families intending to attend the exhibition about the parking and admission fees:
The amount of the parking and admission fees is always determined by the Dog Breeders' Association organizing the given dog show, so we cannot accurately predict the exact numerical value in advance, only an estimated amount.
The parking fee can range between 1000.- HUF and even 4000.- HUF (depending on the city where the exhibition is held).
The admission fee varies, ranging from 500.- HUF to 2000.- HUF per person, but in most cases children and pensioners either do not pay at all or enjoy a larger discount.
