The right to organize the last all-breed CAC show of the spring season was won by the Kapuvár Organization of Dog Breeders (formerly MEOE Kapuvár local Organization) from the Hungarian National Federation of Dog Breeders' Associations. The CAC national show will be held in Kapuvár, on the premises of Kresz-Park on May 25, 2014.

The former MEOE Kapuvár local Organization has a 45-year history. After its establishment, the Organization operated as a sub-organization of the Győr Organization, then after 4 years, with continuous membership growth, it continued its activity as an independent Organization. This period was defining in the life of the Organization, the membership was continuously growing and there were times when their number reached several hundreds. The MEOE Kapuvár Organization successfully organized CAC dog shows and breed surveys several times in the coming years (until the 1990s).

Their dog school was also justifiably famous, producing students who later proudly held the title of World Champion. The dog school, at its current location, is considered one of the most beautiful schools in the county.
In 2011, the leadership of the Kapuvár Organization underwent significant changes, and in 2013, as the next step in renewal, it was completely transformed and continues its activity under the name “Kapuvár Association of Dog Breeders”.

The CAC national dog show will be held at the Kapuvár location.
Kapuvár, with a population of 11,000, is located at the meeting point of Rábaköz and Hanság. Its area has been settled since prehistoric times; Celts, Romans, and Avars lived there before the migration period. The establishment of the settlement dates back to after the conquest. Throughout history, Kapuvár fell into foreign hands multiple times; Ottoman troops often occupied it, and during the Rákóczi War of Independence, it became a battleground and changed rulers several times. In the 19th century, Kapuvár was granted market town status, which was later revoked, and it was reclassified as a village.

The town experienced rapid development in the 20th century, its industry and agriculture flourished from the 1950s, and as a result, it was granted city status in 1969. In the 1990s, well-functioning industrial parks, thermal baths, and holiday parks were planned in Kapuvár.

The town’s monuments, museum, the Fertő-Hanság National Park visitor center, and other attractions draw many tourists.
Nature lovers can also find opportunities in Kapuvár to enjoy their favorite pastimes, as the town is surrounded by forests extending 2-3 km in all directions, providing excellent opportunities for hiking and excursions for visiting guests.
The city's great treasure is its medicinal water that springs from a depth of 1762 meters, fed by high-yield springs.

Below we would like to inform guests and families intending to visit the exhibition about the parking and entry fees:
The level of parking and entry fees is always determined by the respective dog-breeding association organizing the dog show, so the exact numerical amount cannot be precisely indicated in advance, only an estimated amount.
The parking fee can range between HUF 1,000 and HUF 4,000 (depending on the city where the exhibition is held).
The entry fee varies, ranging from HUF 500 to HUF 2,000 per person, but in most cases, children and pensioners either do not pay or receive a substantial discount.

In the last days of the beautiful spring, the Kapuvár Dog Breeders Association warmly welcomes and awaits all interested parties, guests, and exhibitors with their dogs to Kapuvár for a high-quality CAC dog show!
