The MEOE Association is organizing a Champions of Champions show on November 30, 2019. The venue of the show is Budapest at the Hungexpo Event and Leisure Center Pavilion “A”. The judging start time: 2:30 PM.

At the Champions of Champions show, dogs owned abroad and having foreign registration numbers who have reached the age of 15 months will have the opportunity to earn the Hungarian Champion (HCH) title. If these dogs achieve the breed winner (BOB) or best of opposite sex (BOS) title at the Champion show, they can also obtain the Hungarian Champion title. The Champion title can be applied for in person at the show or later by mail, with a fee of 40 Euro. Certificates will always be sent by mail, while the trophies belonging to them can also be picked up on site.

Procedure of the judging:

The judges list up to a maximum of four dogs per breed and sex, then select the best male and best female per sex, who receive the Champion of Champions of the year title. The BOB and BOS titles are competed for by the best males and best females.

Following this, the breed winner (BOB) dogs are re-compared directly after the complete breed group judging in the ring of the given breeds. In this breed group judging, the judge does not award placements, only selects a number of dogs per breed group for the “duel” style Best in Show program as follows:

I. Breed group: 3 dogs
II. Breed group: 4 dogs
III. Breed group: 2 dogs
IV. Breed group: 2 dogs
V. Breed group: 2 dogs
VI. Breed group: 2 dogs
VII. Breed group: 2 dogs
VIII. Breed group: 2 dogs
IX. Breed group: 3 dogs
X. Breed group: 2 dogs

The Best In Show will take place at 7:00 PM, with the program as follows:

The 24 dogs selected from the breed groups are first narrowed down to 12, then 6, and finally the top 3 dogs are selected by 5 conformation judges evaluating the Best in Show.

In the final decision, the 3 remaining dogs are scored by the 5 judges independently, with the 1st place receiving 3 points, the 2nd place 2 points, and the 3rd place 1 point. The dog with the highest total score wins the competition. In the event of a tie, the 5 judges decide by majority vote.
