The OMÉK GRAND PRIX 2 x CAC dog show is now being held for the second time within the framework of the OMÉK agricultural and food industry exhibition and fair.

The OMÉK agricultural and food industry exhibition, held every 2 years, offers this year for the 77th time a glimpse into the diverse fields of the Hungarian agricultural economy.

OMÉK is an exhibition showcasing the entire agrarian sector, where visitors can learn about the raw materials of food industry products and their production processes. The aim is to present the broadest range possible of agriculture, from farming and animal husbandry to processing industries. Through the meeting of countryside and capital, producers and processors, Hungarian products and consumers, it aims to increasingly familiarize the general public with the everyday life of the agrarian world and the challenges of rural life.

Demonstrations related to crop production, viticulture and winemaking, and of course the presentation of the final product, "Hungarian wine," are also good opportunities within OMÉK.

Forestry and the closely related hunting and game management, water management, as well as related fishing and angling opportunities, represent a very popular exhibition feature at the OMÉK event.

Animal husbandry and its various branches have played and continue to play an important role in the structure of agriculture. The development of sheep, pig, cattle, horse, and poultry breeding sectors can also be seen within this exhibition.

Exhibitors of agricultural machinery and equipment strive to showcase the most advanced available technologies, so the process of modernization can be well tracked through the “mirror” of the displayed tools.

The food industry appearance also receives increasing emphasis at the OMÉK exhibition. Nowadays, beyond the presentation of food industry products, the complete presentation of the food chain, the emphasis on food safety issues, and the demonstration of possibilities for health preservation all form part of the food industry presentations, and also indicate changes in current perspectives.

The OMÉK agricultural and food industry exhibition and fair will welcome the general public with numerous demonstrations between September 23 and 27, 2015.

The MEOE Association cordially invites dog lovers, enthusiasts, and dog exhibitors with their dogs to the OMÉK GRAND PRIX 2 x CAC national dog show at Kincsem Park on September 26, 2015, within the framework of the OMÉK agricultural and food industry exhibition and fair.
