The dog is man’s best friend, a faithful and loving companion, protector for centuries. We know and feel its love. We spend happy moments, hours, days, weeks, months, years together. Although their lives are very short compared to ours, we can be sure that during these 10-15 years they will be loyal to us and love us. If they lived for a hundred years, they would love for a hundred years. If their life lasted a thousand years, we would be friends for a thousand years. We can always count on them under any circumstances, because the dog is the only living being that will love forever.

Dear Owner!
Listen to me for a moment! I would like to share my thoughts with you.
I know that you humans live too busy and hectic lives. You go to work and raise children. It seems to me like you’re always rushing and meanwhile you don’t notice the beautiful and irretrievable moments of your life.
Look down at me now from beside your computer! Look, I’m sitting next to your foot. You finally noticed me and raised your eyes to me… oh, I have been waiting for so long! Did you notice that my eyes are a bit cloudy and I have one or two gray hairs? You know, all that comes with my age.
Now we look each other in the eye and our glances intertwine. I see you smiling at me. I love it because I see love in your eyes. And what do you see in mine? Do you see my being in it? Do you see the pulsating inside of my soul, with which I love you as no one else in the world? Do you see the being who forgives all your past mistakes and bad deeds for the sake of a simple moment?
Slow down, even if just for a few minutes and be with me. That’s all I ask. I know that those words you read on that screen about the passing of other dogs often make you sad. I know, sometimes we die very young (we have to die) and oh, so quickly, sometimes so suddenly, it breaks your heart.
Sometimes we grow old slowly before your eyes, but perhaps you don’t even notice and won’t fully realize it until we reach the very end of our life and with darkening eyes we look at you for the last time. You can still read the love I feel for you in my eyes, because it was always there, is there and will be there, even when I lay my head for a long sleep and cross the Rainbow Bridge to another world. After that I can no longer be with you, neither tomorrow, nor the day after, nor next week.
I know it will be painful, and one day, when you wipe your tears—as those people whose souls are filled with deep sorrow—you will be angry at yourself for not spending “just one more day” with me.
I am your dog, and I love you very much. And I know that you love me too. WE ARE TOGETHER NOW! So… come, sit down beside me, here on the floor and look into my eyes. What do you see?
If you look deeply and strongly enough into my eyes, we will talk, YOU and ME, HEART to HEART! Don’t come as a pack leader or trainer… just simply, as a living soul.
Pet me, look into each other’s eyes and talk. I can tell you how much fun it was to catch the frisbee in the park and you can tell me something exciting about yourself or your life.
When you decided to welcome me into your family, you wanted to share your life with a friend, someone completely different from you. And now HERE I AM.
I am your dog and I am alive too. I have feelings, physical senses and I know the difference between our being and our soul. I don’t think of you as a “two-legged dog” – I know you are a “human” and with all your flaws I LOVE YOU infinitely!
Come, sit down beside me, here on the floor. Sit with me for a while, come into my world and let time slow down, even if just for 15 minutes! Look deep into my eyes and whisper softly into my ear!
Speak with your heart, speak with your soul so I can know your true self. There may be no tomorrow and LIFE… oh, it is so SHORT.
So please, come sit beside me now, let’s share the precious moments together! And don’t forget:

Dogs give people their companionship, loyalty, gratitude, and love, bringing smiles and joy into our lives. We must cherish our loyal companions; not only should we expect love and dedication from them, but we must also give them plenty of our love, care, and time. Love begets love, as the saying goes. A loving relationship is a two-way commitment. Your dog trusts that they will receive love back from you. Don’t let them be disappointed! Devote time to your dog just like to your family members and love them always!
