At the upcoming CAC national dog show of the year’s most beautiful month, we can participate thanks to the Hungarian National Association of Dog Breeders' Karcag Independent Organization on May 4, 2014. The CAC show's organization rights were awarded to the Organization last year through an application process from the parent association, MEOE. The venue for the CAC dog show is Liget Street, located in the downtown area of Karcag, Zuglóger.
The best operating dog breeding Organization in the Kunság region, the Karcag Independent Organization was founded in 1971. In the years following its formation, its membership continuously expanded, and the Organization developed year by year. Thus it soon became relevant to establish a dog school with knowledgeable dog trainers and instructors. The dog school has been operating successfully for many years and is now considered the best-equipped school in the region.
At the end of 2008, the Association was restructured with a rejuvenated, new body and started working with a new spirit and youthful momentum. As a result, a successful CAC dog show was organized in 2010, followed a few weeks later by a Regional Dog exhibition, which provided dog lovers the opportunity to present purebred dogs without pedigrees as well as mixed-breed dogs. This Regional Dog exhibition is held every summer under the Organization’s leadership, enriched by dog demonstrations, where purebred dogs without pedigrees and mixed-breed dogs are also judged.
Thanks to the successful 2010 CAC dog show, the Organization was also able to hold a CAC show in 2012, and it will also organize one this year. Among the goals of the Hungarian National Association of Dog Breeders' Karcag Independent Organization is to involve the future dog-loving generation in dog events from childhood, promote dog keeping among young people, introduce them to the colorful world of dogs and exhibitions, and breeding, passing on the knowledge they possess, thus nurturing the future generation of dog enthusiasts.

The city of C.A.C national dog show organized by the Karcag Independent Organization of Dog Breeders. The city currently has 23,000 inhabitants and is regarded as the capital of Nagykunság. Its historical past dates back to the 13th century, when the Cumans who settled here founded the city
The city of Karcag plays a central role in the life of Nagykunság, thanks to its various institutional networks satisfying the healthcare, educational, and commercial needs of the large local population as well as the surrounding settlements.
Among its natural attractions, the Zádor Bridge and its surroundings stand out, serving as the southern gateway to Hortobágy National Park. There are additional protected natural areas around the city, such as Kecskeri-puszta, whose pristine flora and fauna offer a real experience for visiting tourists, as well as the Kun Mounds found in Nagykunság, which recall the memory of the Cumans' presence here.
Visitors can participate in numerous events featuring unique Karcag characteristics, such as the nationally renowned Karcag Mutton Cooking Competition, the Nagykunság Cultural Days series of events linked to the August 20 celebrations, and the two-day Karcag Equestrian Days event, dedicated to preserving equestrian traditions.
