The Kiskunfélegyháza Dog Breeders and Sporting Dogs Association (formerly MEOE Kiskunfélegyháza Association) applied for and won the right to organize the national CAC dog show last year from the Hungarian National Federation of Dog Breeders Associations. The CAC dog show will be held on April 27, 2014 in the village of Kunszállás, located between Kiskunfélegyháza and Kecskemét, on the grounds of the Somogyi Equestrian and Leisure Center.

Looking back from the early 2000s, the Kiskunfélegyháza Dog Breeders Organization is not organizing this spring welcoming dog show for the first time. In 2009, the organization had the honor of conducting the season-opening CAC National show, and in 2011 it also held a CAC dog show in the autumn season. In the spring season of 2014, it can once again organize a national CAC dog show.

“Here I was born in this region/The beautiful large plain of the Great Hungarian Plain/This city is the place of my birth” – writes Sándor Petőfi in his poem "In My Homeland". Kiskunfélegyháza is the third largest city in the region, and also the birthplace of writer and poet Sándor Petőfi and writer, journalist Ferenc Móra. Among the sights of Kiskunfélegyháza, we must mention the Hattyú House, built in the early 1800s in neoclassical style, named after the swan-shaped sign on its pediment. The Hattyú House currently houses the city library named after Sándor Petőfi, where you can also visit a memorial exhibition dedicated to the poet in one of the rooms.

You can watch a short video about the attractions of Kiskunfélegyháza:

The Association has chosen the Somogyi Equestrian and Leisure Center in Kunszállás as the venue for the exhibition. The small village of Kunszállás, with a population of 1700, lies between Kecskemét and Kiskunfélegyháza. Its best-known sights include Csőke Park and the Somogyi Equestrian and Leisure Center. The Equestrian Center is associated with the Somogyi family, who, starting from 1995, continuously developed an equestrian track suitable for carriage driving and dressage competitions on a 20-hectare area, which today also hosts riding camps and is regarded as the most uniquely designed Equestrian Center in Bács-Kiskun County.

Below we would like to inform guests and families intending to attend the exhibition about the parking and entrance fee amounts:
The amount of the parking and entrance fees is always determined by the Dog Breeder Association organizing the given dog show, so we cannot precisely indicate the specific numeric value in advance, only an estimated amount.
The parking fee can vary between 1000.- HUF and even 4000.- HUF (depending on which city the exhibition is held in).
The entrance fee varies, ranging from 500.- HUF to 2000.- HUF per person, but in most cases children and pensioners either do not pay at all or enjoy a larger discount.

The Kiskunfélegyháza Dog Breeders and Sport Dogs Association warmly welcomes all interested parties, guests, and exhibitors with their dogs to a quality spring welcoming CAC dog show!
