The opening show of the most beautiful month of spring is the CAC National Show in Zalaegerszeg, which we can participate in organized by the Zala County Cynological Association (formerly MEOE Nagylengyeli Organization) on May 3, 2014. The venue of the CAC show is in Zalaegerszeg, in the area located in the green zone of the Gébárti Leisure Center, rich in natural beauty.

The Zala County Cynological Association can consider itself lucky in organizing dog shows, as since the mid-2000s it has been able to hold a CAC National show almost every year. The Association has won the right to organize the shows every time by application from the Hungarian Federation of Dog Breeders' Associations.

The Association, with a 22-year history, was able to hold the CAC dog show in 2006 and 2008 in Zalaegerszeg, in 2009 in Nagylengyel, in 2012 in the Zalaegerszeg City Sports Hall, and in 2013 also in Zalaegerszeg, but already on the premises of the Gébárti Leisure Center. The dog shows held in recent years have proven so successful that the Zala County Cynological Association will also organize a CAC National show in 2014.

The location of the CAC National dog show is Zalaegerszeg, which lies on both banks of the Zala river, embraced by the Zala Hills. The city, home to more than 60,000 residents, is considered a popular excursion spot thanks to its favorable natural conditions and attractions.

Zalaegerszeg is regarded as one of Hungary's most floral and greenest cities, for which in 2008 it received the Golden Rose award from the Organizing Committee of Flowering Hungary. Among its natural sights, the Csácsi Arboretum located on the eastern side of the city must be mentioned, with its 60-hectare protected area that contains all native tree species found in Hungary. In the lower forest, within the mountain-like arboretum, is the Azalea Valley, named after the azaleas growing there. From mid-May the azaleas and rhododendrons bloom, making the Azalea Valley a spectacular sight and fragrance delight for visitors and tourists. The Azalea Valley is freely accessible at all times.

Below we would like to inform guests and families intending to visit the exhibition about the parking and entrance fee rates:
The amount of the parking and entrance fees are always determined by the Dog Breeder Association organizing the given dog show, so we cannot precisely specify the exact numerical value in advance, only an estimated amount.
The parking fee may range between 1000.- HUF and even 4000.- HUF (depending on the city where the exhibition is held).
The entrance fee varies, ranging from 500.- HUF up to 2000.- HUF per person, but in most cases children and pensioners either do not pay at all or enjoy a larger discount.

The Zala County Cynological Association warmly welcomes everyone interested, guests, and exhibitors with their dogs to a high-quality CAC dog show on the first Saturday of May!
