Dogs are wonderful and unique beings, loving, loyal, devoted, and special. For thousands of years, they have been our loving animal companions, our good friends. How do they see the world? Anne Geier lives with her family and beloved dogs in Tauplitz, a popular holiday and ski resort town in Styria. Besides her regional and urban development work, she devotes every free minute to her family and hobbies. Two great passions: animals and photography. Animals captivated her already in childhood. Photography became her passion from 2007 – when she got her first dog, Cindy. In the first year, she only wanted lasting memories of her beloved dog, but over time this plan further developed. Today, she can hardly imagine life without animals and photography. The greatest art for her is to be able to capture the unique character of each animal and have it reflected in her photos.
When we look at these soulful portraits, it immediately becomes clear to us that Anne Geier is very talented. From her photos, a truly magical world unfolds before us: babbling streams, snow-covered rocks in the background, vivid fields with vibrant wildflowers, fabulous autumn forests wrapped in a golden leaf carpet. Stunning landscapes in Anne’s beautiful portraits, and when we look into the dogs’ eyes, we see a little piece of their soul reflected back.
